Which file formats are supported?+
STEP (.step/.stp) and IGES. Drawing PDFs can be viewed and stored alongside the part.
Where does the calculation run?+
3D geometry analysis runs on your computer with the OCCT kernel, so the interface does not freeze on large files. Quotes, machine and material data are stored in your account.
Are the analysis results binding?+
No. Results are for information only; the quoting decision and responsibility rest with the user. Critical findings are flagged separately as “manual review”.
Is there a difference between milled and turned parts?+
Yes. Turning has its own toolset — axis of rotation, diameter steps, grooves, facing/stock allowance and OP10/OP20 setup analyses; shared tools (holes, measurement, mass) work on both.
Do we enter machine and material data ourselves?+
Yes, once. You start with a ready-made material library (aluminum, stainless, tool steel, plastics) and enter your own prices.
Can several users work together?+
Depends on your plan. You invite users and define their roles; permissions decide who sees what.
Who owns our data?+
You do. You can export all of your account’s data as an archive at any time; when the account is deleted, the data is permanently destroyed at the end of the retention period.
Is there a trial period?+
Yes, on the Starter and Growth plans; no card is required. At the end of the trial the account switches to read-only.
